It would have been a lot cheaper when it sold back in 2013, but nowadays works the same size as Eden are ยฃ11,500 / $16,000 at source.

Interesting - thanks for sharing.
He has a dim view of what's going on in the world past/present/future. Which influences his paintings, but which doesn't prescribe a meaning - that remains up to the viewer to find if they - themselves - have one.
Also the point on colour, or lack thereof. It's not necessarily because of artistic reasons, but more of an innate, personal dislike.
Dark stuff.

60 x 73 cms - ยฃ4,900
60 x 80 cms - ยฃ5,250
130 x 150 cms - ยฃ9,700
130 x 170 cms - ยฃ10,750
Would not be surprised if prices go up for the next shows as the last couple have sold well and quickly.

I haven't seen the original edition for sale for quite a while but it used to be ยฃ3-4k last time I checked.
You could get the B&W version for about ยฃ800 all of them seems to go gone.
BTW. I know you're not interested in the big one, but maybe someone else is, Stowe Gallery has one for sale for ยฃ6k.

Much cleaner image than the original smaller on cardboard. You may as well go for it as the standard one that is a fraction of the size will only be 1500 less if you can find one. |
