Paco Pomet 🇪🇸 Granada, Spain • New Paintings , by Reptile 072 on Aug 7, 2017 4:31:51 GMT 1, Hey folks, I am looking to sell my Paco Pomet Internacional print. Easily his most well known image, for obvious reasons. This comes floated behind museum glass. I am willing to ship framed or unframed, depending on the buyer. The top left corner has some creasing, but you won't really notice it unless you are looking up close. Not sure what a fair asking price is for this as it rarely pops up for sale, but let's say 3,000 GBP ($3,900 USD) or best offer.
Comes with COA. Please get in touch if interested. Thanks!

so, the price is still ok imho.
either seller should restore it or deduct 100$ from his asking price.

Have you seen the stock this is printed on? It's so thick it's almost like cardboard. I don't think a restorer would be able to fix this.

Im no expert on restoration but i have this print and struggle to see how this could b repaired, the stock is very thick. Still worth buying in my opinion.

Given the location of the imperfection, I honestly don't see it unless I am looking up close. Otherwise, I would not have opted to float it. Either way, if someone were to mat it out, it would solve that issue.

Paco Pomet 🇪🇸 Granada, Spain • New Paintings , by cyberkid on Sept 8, 2017 12:00:45 GMT 1, Dear Collectors of our Pomet Prints, dear Friends!
This was now some time ago, in may, but we think it´s still worth telling you: for a second time we have been granted at the FESPA AWARDS for one of our Paco-Pomet-Prints. After winning a GOLD AWARD with “Rojo” last year in the category of Original Serigraphs & Fine Art Prints, this time, at the FESPA 2017 fair in Hamburg, we obtained BRONZE with “Había una vez/Once Upon a Time”.
The motto of this year´s FESPA fair, “Dare to print different”, could well be our´s since many years. It seems it´s for this, that FESPA awarded us repeatedly, putting us aside of enterprises like Midi Print from Moscow, or the extraordinary printer Lorenz Boegli from Switzerland, and amongst others of the world´s most excelent screenprinters.
Last year the jury pointed out our masterful (!) colour separation system, which we´ve worked out in a long run, tailor-made to the non-toxic, bio-degradable, water-based inks we use. Paco´s “Internacional” (together with “Montaña mágica” of Soledad Sevilla) was the first larger print we used this system for. After doing some investments in order to be able to increase the quality of our prints, we released “Rojo”, … and won GOLD! “Había una vez”, by the way, also obtained the Ramón Ayans Prize 2016, as the nationwide best print of the year from FESPA-España.
We´re quite proud of having achieved this stage, specially because we could do it working together with an outstanding artist and person as Paco Pomet is; proud of seeing the prints we´ve done together being pointed out as of the most eye-catching of the last couple of years, all the more considering that the London-based FESPA is the greatest professional association of screen- and digital printers worldwide.
All this was also possible due to your support and confidence. So this is to thank you for that, and by the way to provide you a relation of (english and spanish) articles about these prints for documentation:
so here you find an article of the FESPA online magazine, which has been illustrated with a pic of our print:
www.fespa.com/news/press-releases/fespa-awards-2017-winners-revealed-in-hamburg.html
… and another of FESPA-España:
fespa.es/news/index.php/2017/06/12/christian-walter-y-molcaworld-se-encumbran-entre-los-mejores-impresores-del-mundo/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=sharpspring&sslid=MzQyNDKyNDEzMjU2AgA&sseid=MzQ1AwJzcwsDAA&jobid=c033183e-1b51-449f-bbfc-195df35df306
… and finally an article published in the magazine of the art school of Jaén: issuu.com/escueladeartejosenogue/docs/revista_artejae__n2017
Even though there was/is very much of a hype about these prints and “Parade” (!), & strange things are happening on the Bay and UAA, & K´s of Pounds and Bucks whisking off and on …, our aim is to furnish a high-quality/ high value output, in order to dedicate it to our collectors and customers and friends, and to whomever supports our work and cheers us up.
