Faile Dog: Shimmering Red from their solo show "from Brooklyn with Love". Acrylic, silkscreen ink on paper. 18x24" bought from Lazarides Gallery (London UK) in 2007 including full and signed/thumb print provenance.
ONLY 3 IN THIS EDITION; provenance stating that it is 1/3 and signed by Steve Lazarides in the presence of the artists . The prov letter will be shown to the buyer.
My price is 5'k GPB plus shipping/fees. This is my first 'for sale' thread on the forum but have sold many times elsewhere. I'm happy to answer any questions, really love this print which is professionally framed and float mounted but if the buyer just wants the print that is fine.
I will accept Paypal gift or bank wires. I will accept Paypal merchant only from respected members at buyer's cost. The print can be removed from the frame and sent worldwide unframed by tracked delivery.
This will be on here for one week before I try other sites, quick sale required.

That said i would caution that maybe there is some terminology here that needs to be careful with..
FAILE Dog : Shimmering Red - Has had multiple releases - each release has been an edition of 10.
I suspect - and I would love to see the paperwork and picture of back of print to prove otherwise as this would be an important and interesting small edition - I suspect that this is would be better described as a print from the 3rd Edition - and that Edition had 10 prints in it. The FAILE Prints and Originals book shows this clearly on page #190.
Still a cracking cool piece.. but 3rd edition is very different than edition of 3 .. so, anyway, good luck to all parties and i'll be checking back to see if the provenance shows this as an special edition of 3 .. as that would make me a potential buyer

I have had 1 or 2 nasty surprises in the past where i have bought framed art and then went to take it out only to find that the materials that where used were the wrong materials. If it wasn't done with Jap hinges there could be problems. I would love to know what is the difference between this and the edition of 10 as i can't see any.
It can get confusing for some as there are 8 or 9 versions of the dog if we include the latest black light.

I am guessing that like many old FAILE prints there is number on the back but I did not confirm that. However, given the paperwork, calm responses from the seller, and a quick email to Laz to confirm the sale and that the original purchasers name on file matches the paperwork shown - i was convinced enough to throw my offer into the ring.. I'll threw a question out to FAILE as well to see if they would elaborate on this piece but I am guessing that will be a long process.. Is the Coa in any way tied to this specific print? I.e. Does it say print 1/3 and does the dog have numbering. Otherwise what good is the coa?
