I was looking for a copy of Linea a few months ago and people were quoting me silly prices saying “the price of these will only go up” A few months later and people seem to be selling them every other day for about £500+ less then they were originally quoting for them.
We all remember what happened to Micallef and I’m not suggesting that Pejac will go the same way for a second but I’m pretty sure if you’re happy to ride out the pump and dump period then you’re going to be able to pick up a print for a much more reasonable price on the secondary market from a talented artist.
Who cares if there is a Whatspp cartel? Let them make a few pennies and move on to the next artist. If you’re interested in the art and not the money it’s worth you’ll be happy to wait.

There is a big difference betweeen followership / fandom and actual success / recognition.
Objectively, no matter how much you like his output, Pejac falls in the first category, but he is priced in the second.

Are you sure? I’m not on Max’s list, so would never have had the first email you mention. But I did enter the last lottery, and was unsuccessful. I haven’t received the second email you mentioned.

People are selling because they've made what 5-30+ x cost price. How many Banksy's were sold at hundreds and low thousands when they could've made more?
Still have every Pejac OG & print i've bought apart from selling a Wound because I Paid £4400 for a HF Wound April this year to upgrade and replace it.
Happy to buy more for cost price if you and anyone else think the ship (see what I did there  ) is indeed sinking, as my belief is 100%. Will taking depreciating offers by PM only please.

There's been what, 10 -15 prints or so (haven't actually counted btw) offered recently for sale out of nearly 1000. Is that really that many % wise?
Nothing different to any other artist's aftermarket. People only see Pejac and think there's a conspiracy. As I said, not 1 person selling would be losing money, far from it. The only difference is unrealistic asking prices and realized prices.

The first emails went to Maxs’ main list and then the second email went to those who failed in the last lottery. You will see the brick on eBay In Jan once delivered.
