Pejac - Love Letter, by tab1 on Dec 7, 2018 16:29:56 GMT 1, The delusions are strong with this one Never assume that because you pay x amount today that in a couple of years time it will be worth x plus 300%. ย The value of something can go down as well as up. ย You can buy a sentimental Victorian painting for less now than you would have done 100 years ago (allowing for inflation, of course). ย Art and artists go in and out of fashion. do not have to go back so far as an example , look at the prices of nick walker and spqr from 2006-2008 and what they are worth now, fashionable trends.

Pejac - Love Letter, by quinn on Dec 7, 2018 21:09:13 GMT 1, I bought this because I really like it. Looking forward to having it on the wall Next to my other smaller pieces. Obviously when spending this amount I have to consider that if I needed to sell I would at least get my money back and I reckon I would but thereโs no guarantee. To me if there was a drop in prices in the next few years then I would be happy as I could buy more of his works. I also have a few micallef pieces that Iโve picked up cheap in the downturn of his prices. Buy art becuse you like it. Its the only way to go.

Pejac - Love Letter, by dogstar on Dec 7, 2018 21:17:16 GMT 1, Hard to argue with 200 people on here that just bought a timed release pejac, all Iโm saying is that there is a very high chance pejac prints will not be worth what secondary currently commands. Someone called me out for an artist that sells prints reasonably. If you want to discuss that quote everything that has been said. Hey thisisit, Firstly, I just want to point out that everyone has their own taste in Art, obviously people share different opinions. You mentioned in a previous post Now I'm not trying to stirs**t here, but I had a look at Nick Smith and his bio says "Glasgow born artist, Nick Smith produces striking versions of iconic artworks, with the exclusive use of colour swatches." Essentially what he really does is this. Nick Smith Step by Step Guide: Step 1. Go to Google images and search for an image, any image you like. Step 2. Open chosen image up in Photoshop > Filter > Pixelate > Mosaic > Cell Size 50 > Ok Step 3. Use the Eyedropper tool on each individual pixel, click the colour in the swatch pallette and choose "Pantone Libraries", this will give you the pantone equivalent of the colour. Step 4. Once you have each pixels pantone colour, buy some old pantone swatches off ebay. Step 5. Find each swatch chip and cut out of the book. Step 6. Print off a large version of the image you pixelated in photoshop and rest a piece of paper next to it which you will glue your cut out chips on. Step 7. Make sure you match each chip with the pixel you've printed out. Step 8. Go to Word Randomizer and bash out some random words to put under each chip. Step 9. Post on insta with a release date. Step 10. Go to Step 1 and repeat the process until you have a following. It's really what I'd call, "Paint by numbers". *Edit, it's obviously extremely time consuming and I'm not trying to piss anyone off here, it's just my take on his process -X- On the matter of Nick Smith's work, graphic designer Tim Fraser Brown knocked this up with over 5,000 chips to liven up an office party in 2008

Pejac - Love Letter, by rjf76 on Dec 8, 2018 8:48:03 GMT 1, Sorry, first post. I love this piece. For me the whole process is part of the final piece. I love the the whole narrative - which the video tells. For some itโs an envelope for me itโs eveytnng leading up to the end artwork. Love it. Not many take so much care in a release
No need to apologize - a refreshing change from 1st post โhow much is this worth?โ....welcome and enjoy!

But I doubt that the numbering system started at #1 since no one has a order number below 100.
Furthermore, I tried to checkout more than one love letter and it was not possible for me. But maybe just a page error, not sure.

Looks like more from the video ๐คทโโ๏ธ On his website, the video shows 7 boxes of envelopes. If there are 50 in each, that's 350 total or 700 if they hold 100 each(assuming there is only 1 pallet of envelopes). I wonder what he will do with the extra, if there are many left over. It would seem a bit of a risk to make 1000s even if you are Pejac.

Pejac - Love Letter, by charliec2701 on Dec 8, 2018 20:39:31 GMT 1, So letโs assume there are 500 in total of these letters out there? I think for those wanting a piece of Pejac for the first time, or for those wanting a reasonable investment or even for those happy to simply part with some cash to display this artwork I donโt think many will complain at parting with almost ยฃ700 for 1/500 can they ?? Personally speaking Iโd prefer him to number each one out of the total sold ... doubt he will though?

Pejac - Love Letter, by Shoeless on Dec 8, 2018 20:56:06 GMT 1, So letโs assume there are 500 in total of these letters out there? I think for those wanting a piece of Pejac for the first time, or for those wanting a reasonable investment or even for those happy to simply part with some cash to display this artwork I donโt think many will complain at parting with almost ยฃ700 for 1/500 can they ?? Personally speaking Iโd prefer him to number each one out of the total sold ... doubt he will though?
Agreed. The description says the edition will be signed and numbered....so Iโm assuming each will have a number.
Iโve really enjoyed his street work but couldnโt justify the thousands for meadow or forest. The magnet idea had my put off a bit but the sprayed box pushed me. Looking forward to receiving this!

He will number each one but will he number it as e.g. 25/476 or merely 25 ?
