Have y'all been to LA? lol Some rich guy saw it, wanted to get in on the banksy hype train (Im a big banksy fan but it is what it is) and bought it.
They did not do the research like we would. he saw more value that we would have in that work. It happens all the time in most industries. Not hard to believe someone over paid for something guys.
If we are selling, we all wish we stumble upon a buyer like this. I have personally been in the market for this work, over the months i have seen it on ebay hovering around 6-800 usd (sold listings) - Dealers are mostly around 1k-1500.

If a new person to banksy is told the original prices of prints rude copper £30 new 60k now , Girl With Balloon £150 new 120k now for example
its easy for people with money to get carried thinking any banksy related item will have the midas touch .
Alot more older prints than usual coming to the market recently, prices creeping up still but no big increases like a few years ago.

I'd like to know as mine is similar style tube. The tube I have looks true to its age this one looks slightly different.
But the email print out, I'd like to know more on that if possible.

Mark from PFG was the first to question it, he didn't even look at the print he knew from tube.
I then compared with a friends genuine tube he brought from the closing down sale.
The ones from Spain are much thinner, but the stickers match up.
The print its self looked too fresh, not consistent with the slight yellowing edges you would expect to see from on posters due to their age.
