I wasn’t even aware of the Ultimate Journey Paul Insect print until I saw everyone talking about the gold version post release. It blew me away; it was from the future. I was relieved that they released the blue and red versions because at over 2000 $, I thought I’d be one of a few willing to pay that much. Also, I was told that it wasn’t a smart buy and that prices would dip below retail a few months after release. ( true story, at the time- I was brand new to “collecting” art.) The day of the drop, as I pressed add to cart my browser froze and by the time I got Chrome working again it was too late. So I imagine, a lot of people may have stumbled into this release late or didn’t think it was necessary to reserve a spot for such an expensive release price. There also wasn’t much dialogue between the release of the blue variant and the gold. It was quiet here.

Ahh your one of those guys. Big shot knows big artist has them stay at your house....all in which changes nothing about people flipping art for a profit. Just because you sell few under retail or a loss doesn’t change the fact you’ve probably sold more things for profit then losses, which puts you in the same catafory as flipping your art. Regardless if it’s 1 day after release or 1 year if you sell for a profit your no better then the person who sold it on day 1 for profit. I’m sure different circumstances but flipping for a profit is flipping for a profit Period.

It’s like me saying you like to touch little kids because your selling kid art. Now would you like for people to think that even if it’s not true? Assumptions are assumptions. Go by facts.
