I'm curious as to what others opinions will be, but from the images of the piece, it looked like you could barely differentiate it from actually being a 3 dimensional piece with great illusion.

You're correct, it really has none of the depth that were so vivid in the pictures. The colors need to be much brighter and not so grainy, the blacks should be deep black and not muted like they look in person. I'm curious as to what others opinions will be, but from the images of the piece, it looked like you could barely differentiate it from actually being a 3 dimensional piece with great illusion. |

But can't argue about taste.
These look great to me. I was looking for prints as well, but those don't really do it for me.
The shape of the metal adds that special certain something for me.
Haven't seen them up close yet. And that will take another 4 monthsโฆ. 
Think an OG sculpture would be cool too. What are prices on those?

I think the same regarding the images of the print. They really look 3d in the images and that is why I purchased them. I hope the white and grey isn't as muted.

Upon receiving (coloured version), agree this is somewhat "meh" vs. the photos.

That's disappointing if the photos weren't representative and it has scratches. The dibond aluminium printing is mainly used for outdoor signs so I didn't know what to expect. Are the edges and points sharp? I just knocked off the ball on the back with a hammer and used 4 hanging strips to press it against the wall. I'll see how I feel about it in the next few days, but as of now, it just doesn't do much for me.

I also think it looks a bit grainy (when looked at up close/at an arm's length) and a bit muted (when looked at under bright light conditions). However, no scratches to the surface and the egdes are sharp.
So, in order to get the best effect this piece requires some more carefully planning with regard to presentation/hanging and lighting. Because with the right light (e. g. not too bright) and background (e.g. black) and looked at from 3 or 4 steps away or the right angle it looks pretty 3D, at least to me.
Conclusion: I like it a lot. It's going up to the ceiling in the guest toilet (a small room with all black walls/black board paint and a matt black concrete ceiling). Now I got to find out how to put it up there without any damage.

There is something to be done with presentation here but Iโm not sure what it is....maybe some gallery or framing people can chime in on how to display...?

I wouldnt really criticize the pixelation / colouring.. but im sure everyones expectations are different.. at eye level standing back the piece looks great
Id also praise the artist for the care and details taken with packing, little stickers and hanging stuff with it.. i have noted the comment above about needing a frame, but part of the appeal to me was that the piece is ready to go on the wall straight out of the box..
