purpleandred it was framed by Reid Framing in Newcastle upon Tyne. The gesso frame was picked up at an antiques store in Hexham and Reid fitted UV glass, mounts and backing board. It's very well sealed in there.
kuni I agree, definitely a milestone piece
crisol I'm really struggling on the resale price, and hoping for some guidance from the members here. I'd prefer to speak directly to other collectors than go to a gallery

I’d say this is more similar to his current work than his early work. Take Dead Rebels, for example. Very different to his current work, much more so than this. And DR’s aren’t particularly early.

To answer a couple of questions and to clear up what will happen next:
- No deal has been done yet but thanks to dbesibol5 for that public offer
- I’d prefer to sell local so I don’t have to remove it from the frame and risk damage. However, I will consider doing this for the right price and shipping internationally
- I’m going to be a bit tied up for the next week but will respond to messages as quick as I can
- Due to the interest received so far I think I’ll approach the sale by publishing a reserve price and calling for sealed bids by private message. Again, this might be next weekend due to having a busy week ahead
