Haring did all kinds of stuff like this. It's as much about being prolific as it is needing cash, if not more. His paintings aren't exactly cheap.

But I think it is fair play for fans to be critical of merchandizing choices artists make, especially on a forum such as this, and especially when the breadth of an artists umbrella starts to include products that are tough to justify as anything other than a commercial cash grab.

I've seen people in the past wrap it around a canvas and do it that way. In this instance, I chose to frame it as if it were a screen print (especially since wording goes all the way to the end).
