Pricing, tax and shipping fair add's up. Perrotin are a gallery in Paris. They are one of the outlets that sold the open edition companions before. Maybe they just got ahold of another batch of the companions. Other sellers were the MOMA and an asian gallery (if I remember correctly). MOMA is probably the easiest way to get them in North America. Maybe there will be more sellers in the US as well. Perrotin was a good source for me as I'm in Europe. Perrotin took some time with the delivery but in the end it worked very well for me. Don't forget to factor in tax, shipping and customs if you order cross-boarder. Edited to say that it looks like Perrotin is taking pre-orders now. According to the website shipping is supposed to start end of february.

They're not limited so they will most likely not appreciate. I expect another massive drop coming soon with his next show. |

These are an open edition so god knows how many were produced. In terms of future resale value I don't really see these going that high so keeping them in the original packaging is pretty pointless. Use them, abuse them, display them. The clear plastic packaging seems a tad cheap but $160-200 for a kaws toy with this hype is a no-brainer. |

The same thing happened to me recently with the bank saying someone got ahold of my cc and made some unauthorized transactions so they sent out a new one. I'm thinking maybe I should contact them since I haven't heard anything for a month or so.

Enjoy them or gift them. People love a lil Kaws in their life.
I have one on display and the rest tucked away.

Its better to let your vinyl breathe because soft vinyl acts weird when it's not exposed to oxygen for an extended period of time. Paint begins to mess up and vinyl can sometimes secrete an oily substance over time.
