Why use a site seemingly unaware of what the potential demand will be like? Seems to all under control. When the items were out of stock the inventory status changed to 'backordered'. No payment was taken for any purchases made of any items in this status, even if they were invoiced. It's a reservation for any future stock which seems unlikely, for the BFFs at least.
If they're an open edition they can just make more to fill the orders surely.
Except the plush which is limited, but I'd doubt they'd sell 3000 easily

They made 2000 more of these compared to the blue to meet demand but even 3000 won't scratch the surface. Hence open edition companions

I meant that I have an order that had items in stock and also a separate order which has items on backorder. Both have the same status in order history, so there's nothing to distinguish them from each other at the moment other than the email from MOMO saying - 'in stock' or 'backordered Item: Thank you for your patience. This backordered item will ship as soon as it becomes available. You will NOT be charged any additional shipping fees.' |
