He actually could've made more money/sales had he actually taken all the orders he couldve, and actually stuck to the 'open edition' that he claimed. Hes just getting more hype/press with this drip drop and allowing select resellers/flippers to make some $ยฃโฌ.
I think he gets more money this way. Short supply, resellers, high prices, peoplego crazy and buy whole sets because of false value, regular people see an oportunity and become flippers, flippers se the frenzy and buy more to flip more etc...
Not to mention the publicity!!!
If he'd just had k's of toys at the modern, people would have but some and that would have been the end of it. A couple of rich flippers would have been temporarily burnt and that's it.

IMO, I think if he just took orders on kawsone.com for lets say a week($200/piece), he wouldve sold a TON of these - way more than he has just by selling at Ft.Worth museum,MOMA,collette,perrotin,toykio and the japanese outlets. Clearly, wouldnt have gotten the hype/press but wouldve saved a lot of hassle for the people at Ft.Worth museum and MOMA from sifting thru orders because of faulty websites. |

On my first order of one companion they only let me choose one option of 50 euro... i completed just to score one.
Then i saw the mono version still available so i completed:
It allowed me to choose cheaper shipping option of 16 euro. Also the tax was cheaper.
So finally first order was 290
And second with other shipping company 249 euros.
I have writen them to have refund of the 40 overpayed ...
