Quite like these too Nu! ... not jumping on the band wagon as i know alot of people have bigged these up, but i think there kinda cool,
kind of image that follows your mood- read one day can make you chuckle away at the wit,
and the next day send you into a guilt trip of lack of appreciation for all our commodities!
Just IMO of course, not sure how they would sit in a family home though, (ironic in itself i know!)

I've seen these images at the show and posted around Shoreditch. They're well executed and are very much in keeping with a lot of street art at the moment, giving a nod to the work of an established artist (Peter Blake). Though like Nu, the messages just leave me a little cold.
I hate to say it, but I think the fakefags stickers (which have been doing the rounds since the warnings on fags were first introduced) are more witty and on point.

I've got to say I disagree with you nu on the fag packets, where's the insight, art, humour, & passion? you ask, well, it's all there. The humour is in the messages and from mixing up with Blakes idea, art from Blake, insight and passion in putting it together and getting out and putting them on the street too. As has been said it's a simple idea, like the best pieces are I think, Banksy and Mantis for example very simple.

Wow. I don't get the point disrespecting other's artwork that way. Ok, you don't like it, fine. Everybody's an idiot who does - don't know about that really... I personally think it's a pretty clever idea, pretty well executed - objects you encounter everyday with warning signs with facts on them nobody really cares about just this time with notes that actually mean pretty much to everybody. Why not just stick with: " I don't like it", why totally ripping it apart? The artist probably spend a lot of time preparing and realising these works, more that could be said about the guy who just hates it to death in a forum. I didn't like "INeed", I didn't like "Crucipod" but I respect others who did and especially the artists who created them, to each his own...

I agree with you, even though all the members of this forum have some interest in the same style of art, I bet there's no two members with exactly the same collection. We all have our preferences and no one's right or wrong, it's not maths is it? I usually keep my mouth shut if I don't like something or a simple not to my taste etc with a little explanation. I hate the it's crap and anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly wrong or doesn't know or understand art as well as me attitude.
Unlike wiesn089 I like the Crucipod and unlike NuArt I like the crushed fag packets, but I share my dislike for Dan Baldwin with Nu and share my liking of Charles Krafft with Nu, in fact it's Nu I've got to thank for pointing me in the right direction with Charles Krafft. I'm not a fan of Eine either, but if others like it fair enough it's up to them, I'm happy if they're happy.
