Really no hate at all... I understand the hype to get a signed KAWS print but do you really care more about getting something from a certain artist than what a piece of art looks like? We all know what the bigger picture looks like of these portfolios (which run $100k-$125k), so $1000 to roll the dice and get a piece of one is a score for many. The mystery is the composition but we're all buying into bold colours, some line work and identifiable character features. Some people get a napkin signed by their favourite artist, musician, sports figure etc and cherish it. |

If that is the case, these pretty much match that... Maybe in Brians mind, there is no story, it is just purely abstract
