i also like bert/big bird, but big bird being the same size as the others seems odd.

Also I donโt really understand the allure of the box set if all of the individual plushes are readily available. I donโt think anyone needs a limited cardboard box that badly.

His earlier stuff is darker or more adult, heads getting popped off, intenstines getting ripped out, companions getting chopped in half. People seem to forget the โxโ on the eyes implies death. So even these new Sesame St charters are actually dead. Kinda funny in a dark humor way.

I think the dolls are aimed for the kids, many parents will buy them thinking thatโs how the eyes are supposed to look, which will be funny later - โha ha you got a dead Elmoโ sez the older kid...subversion at Christmas. Thereโs fun kid shirts and some for adults. Some think Cookie Monster hipster cool.

I felt that way about the Hirst watches, which in many ways are worse than these. Disneyโs mouse spewing whatever explosive diarrhea for the 90th anniversary. I decided in elementary school that Mick Mouse watches werenโt cool.

I would have definitely worn a watch with any of the Looney Tunes characters, Foghorn Leghorn being one of my favorites still. And I took my son to Anaheim Disney 3 years ago. Everyone knows Mick has been done to death.
