We are delighted to announce that this summer we are holding a secret auction of Urban Contemporary Art and Street Photography - hosted by online auction house Paddle8 and exhibited at Old Spitalfields Market.
Curated by iconic street artist Ben Eine and street photographer Dougie Wallace, we have an impressive line up so far including Anthony Lister, Vhils, Ed Kashi, Melanie Einzig, Shok1, Sandra Chevrier, Nick Thomm and many more. The works have been carefully curated to include some of the most collectable and interesting contemporary urban artists practising today.
Our secret summer auction presents a unique chance to own signed mini masterpieces by well-known artists and photographers. We aim to democratise the art market experience by placing all the artists and photographers on a level playing field and starting off the bidding at the same price of just £50. Each 10 x 15cm work will be up for anonymous auction with the names revealed the day after the auction ends meaning the buyers will be in for some happy surprises.

It's indeed an image we have seen during the open edition release but it has not been used at the end (as far as I recall).
To the charity auction itself, indeed great line-up!
I am willing to give it a try but have failed to focus only on few artwork so far. I let the time do its work and see the ones that are still appealing to me towards the end of the auction.
I see this working well for a postcard size artwork.

here's the description: "this artist concerns themselves with political issues and the dark side of contemporary media, creating meaningful works out of found and perishable materials"... doesnt really sound like vhils, also a reference to "themselves"
where as the black & white eye made up of 4 postcards had the following description "this artists work has been hailed as one of the most compelling approaches to art created in the streets in the last decade" fits much more the description of vhils work

Edit: On second thoughts the description still matches Vhils but again he prob didnt get 8 postcards... so i l scratching my head as to which artist this is
