Hey All raphyki55 is the one organizing, I didn't realize he was on the forum but definitely reach out to him directly
He mentioned to me that the first 10 spots were taken, but maybe someone will drop out or the gallery will open it up to a bigger edition.
Didn't meant to steal any of his thunder, I really didn't do anything, he's the one who noticed that guy bought all of the stock, and reached out to the gallery to open up the edition. So all props go to him

Great opportunity to see a complete body of work in multiple mediums. Might even have some new merchandise as well (prints, tees, pins, etc.)

SEPTEMBER 9 โ NOVEMBER 26, 2017
Elmhurst Art Museum is excited to announce a solo show including new work by Chicago artist, Hebru Brantley. Brantley is known for his public art commissions such as โChi Boyโ on S. Wabash and his murals for the CTA Green Line station that serves McCormick Place, for which Brantley was commissioned to create eight panels. Jay-Z and Beyoncรฉ, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the Pritzker family, LeBron James and George Lucas are among his fans and collectors.
Brantleyโs work draws influence from an array of pop culture icons, comic book heroes, Japanese anime and street art pioneers Jean Michel Basquiat, Kaws and Keith Haring. His signature characters, Fly Boy and Fly Girl, convey the conflicting emotions of circumstances beyond human control. A native of the city's Bronzeville neighborhood, Brantley was named one of Crain's "40 Under 40." He has exhibited in London, Switzerland, San Francisco, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York including Art Basel Switzerland, Art Basel Miami, Scope NYC, Frieze London and Sweden, where his work was featured at the American Embassy.
Brantleyโs 2016 collaboration with Chance the Rapper, in which he provided animation and art direction for the video, โAngelsโ, caused a sensation in what the Chicago Tribune called โthe ultimate love letter to Chicago.โ Brantleyโs recent exhibition in Miami Beach (2016) โTheories From the Low Endโ reinterpreted modern folklore by inserting black superheroes into American comic history. Brantley's 2014 solo show at the Chicago Cultural Center โParade Day Rainโ explored celebration and disappointment through a multimedia installation which included a full-sized parade float and colossal sculptures suspended from the ceiling.
His work has been featured in Crainโs Chicago, Billboard Magazine, The New York Post, The Seattle Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun-Times, Hi Fructose and the Chicago Reader. He was selected as a "Breakout Artist" by New City and as a featured artist for Chicago Artist Month.
