Mine is as well which I have never had a problem with before being in the USA. They want me to fill out some form with my social security number so they can release it. I imagine anyone else in the US will have this problem.

FedEx had me fill out a form with my social security number. Very weird. I've never had this happen before? Hopefully, I'll get it tomorrow. Looks like its delayed in Tennessee.... |

i think the the issue is that any shipment coming from overseas gets flagged if marked as a value over $2,500. it's also because of the service they used (fedex, DHL, etc). chances are any US buyers are gonna get a tax bill from uncle sam and money owed. that is why they need your SS number.

This is 100% correct. Itโs because the value was over $2500 people in the USA are having to fill out paperwork.
