I'm in a different country and cannot knock on his front door or go make this happen for him. He needs to make this a priority, as it's 20+ Thousand Dollars for something that was nowhere near what he advertised. Public outcry is clearly the only way to get attention to the matter. I've never had to do this in my life, yet he doesn't seem to care at all to correct this right away. Now I'm at risk of having the sit for months with no refund because he can't carve out a time to take care of it for me. |

In all honestly please relax. I am sure James will sort it out. Just give the guy some time to get in touch with you and get things sorted. I bet he is discussing the whole situation with the seller of the print also.

And dont get me wrong, ive used public flaming here to get things sorted, and it works. But i gave things months and months to get sorted first.
PA isnt like that, so give him a couple days to get it together and reply to you without burning him here. If it was me in this possition, id be happier it was him than 99% of galleries.

Chill a bit, he has always had a great rep on here, so no need to freak out (money aside obvs!) he will get it sorted for you. Thats a chunk of cash to raise on the pronto, i see no reason to think he wont sort it though, and i can see how reply to you for now may not be that tempting as your a bit hot at the mo, which i get, but his rep here for donkeys years should allow you to give him a bit of space. However he should keep the lines of communication clear and open. I'd be anxious too. Communication and honesty is key here. If its going to take a month or a week to get the refund processed then Inknart should be kept well informed. He's right its a lot of money. If I'm being really honest I'd probably post here If I felt I was being ignored.

I, for one, will never buy anything from them, despite some people saying they have had good dealings with the gallery in the past.
I still don't quite understand why the gallery is not communicating with the unhappy customer. Is this spite? Again, not a good look for a gallery. He could easily say "Sorry for the delay. We hope to get you the refund within the next X days." It's not rocket science.
