Prescription Art ๐ฌ๐ง Brighton, by nobokov on Jan 19, 2017 17:25:56 GMT 1, I agree, it's in poor taste.
I didn't vote for either candidate (go peace and freedom party) and don't get the extreme anger that Trump brings out on both sides. When has a candidate lived up to their campaign promises? There's not going to be a great wall of mexico, American isn't becoming "great again," and middle America is going to be thoroughly disappointed when he's not as racist as his silence appeared to make him seem. Manufacturing jobs are not coming back and he'll deport as many immigrants as Obama. Business as usual...
Just too many inauguration cash grabs by artists pretending to care.

More of a jokey thing for the man shed in the garden! Agreed with some of the above, too many guns, too many bullets and not enough real dialogue leading to solutions. He is inciting further intolerance. A Sesame street puppet would have been nice with a huge combover that could blow off in the wind.

There's already enough divisiveness regarding the current situation, don't need to stoke the fire.. not to mention who wants this joker on the wall/in your portfolio?

Not to mention that the "Killary" part is really lame.

Most of the anger is media generated and also by people like Soros and other globalist billionaire parasites.
Trump is partly a backlash against the "only white people are racists" media propaganda and spouting of forced integration by some politicians and shills whose agenda was division and profit from it.
Trump is better for europe than Obama was and Clinton would have been a disaster for europe and european countries bordering Russia.
Some artists cash in on events like this thats true, or when a major celebrity dies or a sporting event.
It's in poor enough taste that it's inciting a politician to be assasinated some would say. Others would say it's freedom of speech and people are not influenced by stuff like this or violence in movies.

"Clinton would have been a disaster for europe and european countries bordering Russia." WTF! Putin is just creaming his pants right now thinking he can take back the Baltic states without NATO opposition. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-38014997
"don't get the extreme anger that Trump brings out on both sides" How about that he's a dangerous narcissistic psychopath who will get us all killed.
"who wants this joker on the wall"
The only plausible reason for not shooting Trump is that it would mean Mike Pence becoming president...
"darts is a pub game" No, it is a fantastic sport ,-)

Prescription Art ๐ฌ๐ง Brighton, by randomname on Jan 20, 2017 16:43:42 GMT 1, It's only offensive in that it misses its mark entirely. People who are against Trump are also generally against threats of violence against people we disagree with. Something like this lets the other side label us as hypocrites when it's really only one idiot speaking for himself.
Perhaps not surprisingly, only one has sold. The inventory was set at 50 when it went up. It's at 49 a day later.

Clinton email loser is or was behind Merkels mad globalism agenda. Constantly in contact with Merkel behind the scenes. With also one eye on Syrian resources. Plus coporate interests in Europe. In contact with the EU too. The interfering in Ukraine by the EU, supported by the likes of Clinton caused Putin to annex Crimea. Poking a sleeping bear so to speak.
Putin is no match for Nato plus if he did invade fully and Nato's full might was aimed against Russia. Russia would have China on the other border possibly making a push for territory and moving onto Russian (soviet) soil. Putin's a chess player. Clinton is not, she and the likes of Merkel Soros etc don't care about victims and Merkel publicly said that globalism will create victims. Lots in Europe so far thanks to her and her ilk.

All I can tell you is he sold one print in 24 hours. Then the inventory dropped to zero after he replied to my post. Then jumped to 40 after I pointed that out. Maybe there's a perfectly logical explanation besides the obvious.
That said, he does seem like a nice enough guy. I've seen gallery owners do far worse.

Prescription Art ๐ฌ๐ง Brighton, by pcant on Jan 21, 2017 11:42:43 GMT 1, I think Trump is a real danger. He's tremendously thin-skinned. He tapped into a strong, angry wave in America, and he's a media-savvy master showman, there's no denying it. But he's easily baited into petty nonsense (I assume he'll nuke Brugges some day because a Bulgarian teen mocked him on Twitter, and yes I know they're two different countries, I'm assuming that he doesn't).
He seeks validation from crowds (he had a victory tour after he won, but only to the states that voted for him, and he basically carried on campaigning because he needs the clicks and the likes and the cheering fans). He seems to have trouble staying focused. He admits to not reading a lot, preferring to "go with his gut." In some ways, he's like a less-restrained Bush 43. He cares about ratings.
These are fantastic qualities in a TV show host, but not so, I believe, in a president. I'm not a huge Clinton fan, but first off, she would have been much more prepared (Trump is missing large segments of the apparatus of government, basically because he's trying to do it like he runs everything: Paying attention to little details and delegating the big stuff. He appears to think he can personally hire all 2,000+ people he needs in his immediate government). And speaking of Clinton, the GOP screamed for months about her Goldman Sachs speeches, and now Trump's put about five GS veterans in his close administration. "Drain the swamp" indeed. Trump is supposed to divest his business dealings, he essentially has refused to, or offered zero proof to back up claims that he has.
He makes deals. Which is, again, great, if what you need done is a deal. Running the country isn't making a deal. I'll even argue he's not a great businessman in the classic sense. He didn't do well at running a business. He lost a ton of money running casinos and was hit by several bankruptcies in the 90s, now he makes his money mostly by licensing his name. Again, not doubting his acumen as a deal-maker, but we don't really need a deal-maker, we need someone who knows how to run the business.
Also, I wouldn't buy the target. I think art should provoke, and I'm all for the artist saying what they need to say, but I'll pass.
