I can't afford it so this would have been an easy pass for me. But I think it is a really cool piece.

When I first saw it in the flesh I was really quite overwhelmed by it. Itโs a phenomenal piece and Congratulations to you for purchasing it. Out of only 26, I doubt many of these will come up in auction very often and the fact it is so bespoke and so unique in comparison with previous works, in my opinion only adds to its value.
A good friend of mine who is also a member of this forum long before me and who has been collecting Banksy for well over 10 years said that he felt these were priced rather reasonably. Like another member has already shared in their post, โit is all relativeโ and opinions will of course vary.
I would be over the moon if I was given the opportunity to buy one of these. So congrats again to you.

If people want a solid banksy investment buy something more popular like a signed barcode or other early signed prints. Editions of 150 and god knows how few actuallly remaining in good condition after so many got tacked to the wall/ripped/lost/ruined by framing etc etc

Sotheby's were happy to sell Morons and i'm sure they will be happy to auction this sculpture too.

Personal preference art and image wise and no comparison investment wise. While I absolutely love the Bugs originals, you'd be hard pressed to even get your money back on it, where as the grappling hook will be more than double it's price by the time COAs are issued in 2019.

It's impressive in size and message, but I've seen enough religious imagery from Banksy to feel a bit jaded at this point.
