I saw another for a buy it now for ยฃ600 and the one i just got outbid on went for 700 something, so i thought ok i will go for the bin. Anyway the guy lived in Japan- didnt think too much of it. So i took it to pow and they had it for a few days. I then got the bad news. I know it might sound silly but at that moment in time i'd never heard of people faking Banksy. To me he was too smallfry. How wrong was i!! I love the image so it still might go on the wall one day0 but now it has the dreaded red stamp on the back THIS IS NOT BANKSY.

With the renewed interest for Difaced tenners I would be cautious of this seller who by his feedback has sold loads of these ranging from very low prices to a recent auction for over two hundred pounds. It may be that he has amassed a stash bigger than Banksy himself! Just be cautious.

I used to pass an image of this stencil every day in Bristol, that was 8 or 9 years ago - and if this has suddenly turned up (or in 2009 as the ebay post says) then there is no way they're real. Banksy has been doing fewer pieces each year but each one has been more detailed and more thought out - he's not just about to bust out an old stencil.
If we give the seller the benefit of the doubt then he's just taken a sign that some copycats have sprayed on, if you're not so generous then he's a chancer trying to sell a roadsign he's painted himself.
