So your trained eye was there that day when they were released? You don't think some may have not been signed? I'm just wondering because I was going to bid on that deck. I've bought many items from Heritage and always everything has been legit.....

Can you PM the differences?
I've seen some obvious fakes, but they seem to be getting harder to spot. Especially from pictures online without having a real one to compare with.

Your hijacking of this thread has been pretty impressive. First you suggest the works are "fake" and don't provide any evidence even after multiple members have asked. Then you suggest the deck is fake because it's not signed. Do you really think KAWS signed every single deck?
Look at the past ones that have sold on Ebay have they all been signed? Come on bro...
Then you suggest it's fake because the estimate is only $800 - $1200. Do you know how an auction works? Start low end high....

covertshadowops if you ever have concerns about authenticity please reach out! It's easy to hate, but it a very hard job authenticating these works as they get harder and harder to tell. We take it very seriously.
We are all members of this group and others, and frequently vet works with the group. Actually last year we took down a Banksy work due to feedback on UAA, just one of many examples.
We consider ourselves the experts and regularly reject works. We are actually putting out a catalog raisonne of KAWS toy works soon to help with forgeries in the marketplace.
With that said we also ask the community to help us because the more eyes the better. We have over 500 works in our Urban Art sale and we vet each one individually.
Also we have a 30 day return policy if you get the work and have any legitimate doubts. Hope this helps.

....itโs a hard job??? You are getting paid arenโt you?? Surely you should be questioning and checking every item, especially in a known market with fakes.... especially cus of your certain Massive auction coming later this year with a very well known collector selling his collection!!
And then on the other hand you say you are going to bring out a book to help against fakes.... thatโs a laugh!!!

YES it is totally different from a jpeg! Have you ever not purchased a piece of artwork just based off a jpeg then blown away when you actually received it? Who knows if some were left over and not signed? Get Arsham to fire up the Delorean and we can go back to that day lmao.

You think or do you know? err Kaws never sold any work previously in the States before 1999? Wasn't it Lev aka Toy Tokyo whom bought the first figures in the States and then brought them over to Japan? I could be mistaken? It's hard to tell from a jpeg Is there a COA for these? I've had many good dealings with Heritage and nothing but good things to say about them Itโs hard to tell from a jpeg??? What a load of rubbish. I can tell straight up that the red chum deck is a fake. Is their COA for these??? LOL.. have you bought anything from Supreme with a COA? Were you there that day when they were sold? I see you use to own the deck where is it now? Maybe you could post a picture instead of slinging mud? YES it is totally different from a jpeg! Have you ever not purchased a piece of artwork just based off a jpeg then blown away when you actually received it? Who knows if some were left over and not signed? Lower right corner certainly has rubbing and paint loss though. Thin paint is never good on canvas. Always worth paying a few ยฃยฃยฃ for a tray frame.
Also worth checking the pale green/yellow mark below Homer's back-bulge.

They are on the go a long time. I don't collect Kaws pieces so i would have no idea about them.
