The irony is that half-assed revelations like this one — which disclose little of substance and hold absolutely nobody directly accountable — are just as much a part of the problem.

These are the actions of an individual who is fearful of stepping up. Of manning up. They're the actions of someone who (notwithstanding assertions to the contrary) believes they actually do have something to lose.

And so, rather than using their regular forum account, they set up a new account from which to spew and make threats — safe in the knowledge that relative anonymity will offer some protection from potential blowback. In other words, they can lash out without consequence.

Moreover, the reference to eBay listings suggests their comments about the Ted Patrick fake-artist shenanigans are not so much based on principle. Instead, they're being used as ammunition, to fire warning shots across the bows — i.e. "If you mess with my eBay sales again, I will retaliate by exposing you."



What all of this points to is moral cowardice. [And if forced to choose between dishonesty and cowardice, I'd be hard pressed to identify which one I despise most.]

Find that courage within. That genuine conviction as to right and wrong. Assume your actions are being watched, and judged, by those closest to you, whose opinions you cherish most.



Do you have credible, considered and persuasive evidence that offers proof of wrongdoing beyond a reasonable doubt?

If so, then please set it out. Fully, methodically, clinically, dispassionately.

Please also identify the specific forum members involved, and their specific roles in the subterfuge. After all, they forfeited their right to privacy when they made the conscious choice to deceive other members here.

If you lack irrefutable evidence and your comments were founded on mere suspicion, then the onus lies with you to be much clearer about this point.

No-one thinks Ted Patrick has anything to do with team Banksy do they? If they do, well its their money! Good art speaks for itself and doesn't need to pretend to be anything it isn't. I don't mind admitting I've bought derivative things before and purely because I liked them. I wasn't under any illusion. People these days like the 80's....I was there, it was shite.

I have Ted's Glitter Gorilla (gold) version and I do like it but I'm not feeling this new print. Received the email but I'll pass.

Can we compare Zedsy to Ted Patrick ? I don’t think so. Ted has for me more practice and is less commercial. More serious to finish. No Disney parody.

If I remember correctly, Zedsy is French whilst Patrick is a UK-based.

I seem to remember that Zedsy lived in Manchester as I also got the original Poison Apple print the morning after it appeared at Dismaland.
