Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by drip on Dec 3, 2019 16:57:48 GMT 1, Yup! Itโs a status symbol. Price of a small car. Or a yearโs wages. Obscene. I think art is a form of wealth tax for the insecure wannabe fool. Guilty as charged. Some of it goes to NGV which could be good. Hopefully dear Brian spend some on supporting younger unknown artists or up and coming drug lords. Mercy on our sad souls. Art is the only thing that doesnโt matter and that is why it does. I think it goes all the way down the line, doesn't it?
You look at your millions in the bank, and think 'That could probably help many people'
You look at your house, and think 'That might be able to house many who are cold, desperate or homeless'
You look at your art collection, and think 'That's a lot of art there. Could that money instead be used to help pay towards some sort of project that helps victims of domestic violence?'
You look at your Porsche, and think 'That's worth thousands of vaccines that could save the lives of many children in impoverished regions'
You look at your Tag Heuer, and think 'That wrist-mounted time telling device could be exchanged for a number of medical aid packages for refugees'
You look at your trainers, and think 'That's great how I've managed to keep them so clean, but homeless dogs don't have shoes. And there's a lot of broken glass out there on the streets. Maybe next time, I could donate to a dog shelter, and buy some slightly cheaper shoes?'
You look at that last ยฃ20 in your bank account, and think 'That could actually feed a few people in some far away country somewhere'
You look at your naked body, and think 'My eyes could give sight to a child, my organs prolong the life of a single parent, foxes and other wildlife could feed on my corpse through the Winter.'
I think life is about making peace with both yourself and existence every day. Life is inherently cruel and unfair. We didn't ask for it to be this way, but it is. All we can really do is try not to be a wanker, don't be cruel, never inflict pain or hardship onto the innocent, do attempt to alleviate the suffering of others, never punch down, generally try to lend a hand whenever possible, laugh when you can, and don't be so hard on yourself for not being able to fix everything. Despite the magnificence and beauty of life, we are deeply flawed. We're not perfect, and the Universe never intended for us to be, but we can be kind now and then. Life is cruel and we're hounded by death and misery from the moment of our birth. The whole of the Universe is against us. But, as ultimately helpless as we are, we can still rebel, be kind and stay alive. IMHO.

Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by Gentle Mental on Dec 3, 2019 16:58:31 GMT 1, The original sketch will replace the Mona Lisa at the Lourve and you will whisper to your grandchild saying you have the signed ed print hidden in the mattress which he will murder you for soon after - and sell it on StockXX for a gatrillion webucks or renminbi - the only 2 recognised currency of the near future. Boris Xi Trump Putin fuck yeah. Time for my meds....

Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by Hairbland on Dec 3, 2019 17:14:26 GMT 1, He yankin ur chain. Just a wind up. Laugh and move on. Got anything to back that thought up? Most who offer a strong opinion have done some thinking to come to their conclusion. You really think I didnโt know that? Yanking a chain-yanker great sport. Like the proverbial fish in a barrel.

Kaws NGV - COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS, by brazzy on Dec 3, 2019 17:35:14 GMT 1, the one time in my adult life that I've had the means to purchase a kaws print and I passed.
This could end up being the biggest regret of my entire life, especially after this print wins the pullitzer for best all time print and an Appley!

Boris Xi Trump Putin f**kyeah. Time for my meds.... If anyone missed out, I'm at 10k (GBP/EUR/USD - you choose) for a quick deal. I take it that's for the 3 you purchased? How about $10k AUD for the 3

And by much you mean?ย I think he means that many people bought it in person prior to the online release. I canโt imagine it really took 20ish hour to sell out. I can imagine a lot of cancelations happened.
