Doesn't seem to overpriced compared to this.
So it was supposed to be in person only plus tier pricing. It's neither, so apparently something didn't go according to the plan. Unless of course this is not the last tier.
Harland's Phaidon edition sold out at ยฃ3k no problem, same with Jonas Wood.

If this was colour it would be triple the price on the secondary straight away. I much prefer it over the MOCAD and Brooklyn museum prints, this is a nice full image and great little size!

Oh OK. Can't say I'm too surprised. It's tiny and you can say it's a Jonas Wood print only because it's signed.
This at least it's a classic Kaws image. Not the best, could use more colors, but easily recognizable.

The image isn't great, the size isn't great, and the price is high for what it is. This means they didn't sell enough of them and as a result they were forced open sales to the rest of the world to try and move the very large number of leftovers. Tiered pricing makes selling out a whole run very difficult. These prints will sell out eventually, but I don't see them moving at more than ยฃ5,000 on the secondary. |

I haven't bought one, but it's strange that they've not sold out yet. Probably not a lot of profit for flippers, but Kaws has more than enough wealthy fans that I thought would have snapped these up by now. I hope they didn't forget to add an inventory number when they put them online๐

That's not true. Some of his most iconic pieces were sketches. If you've seen his scrap book and some pieces from the 90's they're mostly sketches. This print takes us back to those roots, which IMO is a good thing. As an example, here's an early original sketch that I had from about 15 or so years ago. |

Yeah, I agree on the image, size and pricing, but I still think it's odd they haven't been snapped up. He can shift tons of unlimited toys in a short time for what I consider big money, at least this is signed.
