The photos on his insta are usually pretty guff so i didnt have high hopes for this. But surely if hes taken photos for 30 years there inevitably have to be a couple diamonds in the rough

Sub ยฃ100 would be where i would want, it would still generate roughly ยฃ30k ( I think) an edition.
Maybe i have it wrong and dont understand these things but its a photo and a large edition at a starting cost of what ยฃ300 each? How would ever get close to recouping that if you had to sell it?
Maybe i shouldn't say this stuff as its a bit negative, but i just don't understand

I like the idea of the big stuff though, possibly thats what will sell? Corporate sales? office blocks, reception areas etc?

Good point! Ghetto 4 Life was about ยฃ100 and an edition of 75 in 2015. Yeah, Steve was a professional photographer, but Martha Cooper is number 1 when it comes to street art photography.
Or buy a unique original Larry Clarke photo for less than ยฃ100.
These photo's should have been at least 50% less than the prices he's after.
Oh well, it's his show and he can do what he likes. Hopefully the book is sensibly priced, but not getting my hopes up.

I'm not sure that many people outside of the Banksy fans would even know who Laz is though. As someone said, anybody can photograph a Banksy in the street.
You are buying a work by Steve Lazarides not Banksy and imo the pricing should be reflective of this.
