The whole thing wasnโt great tbh, a lot of hush and Fairey but not much else. Not a great vibe in there today either. These flash sales mean everyone is kind of on edge.

I was in the area today and had a ticket anyways, so thought i would give it a try
I have enough Invader and am not submitting myself to these shenanigans again !

My analysis of the people there :ย
10% Youths who are for some reason supplementing their hash revenues with prints
30% sneaker heads who have moved to the print game to flip new stuff. Mostly nice but don't give a toss about art
50% collectors who are new to the scene (several started with the Paris Obey / Invader release). Won't flip necessarily, but buy prints because print have $ value. Nice, but know zilch about most artists, very little about Invader
10% Collectors who have been around for a while, know most of the artists, and enjoyed walking around looking at what was on show knowing they might end up scoring a cool Invader for their troubles

Because I liked it even if I did not understood, I think that here ( in his comment ) , they ( he ) shown how the show was messy and maybe thatโs why I like this, as a reportage ( news ).
Itโs really a worrying art ( art ?!! ) fair.
I have seen some pics, it looks a bit โ poor โ, I mean, itโs not very big, with rarities, and the presentation of the artworks does not look attractive...

The lady was very pissed off and said that it was causing too much trouble and they have decided that it will no longer take place at the show.
Asking more questions - like when they would be sold, she said that she did not want to talk anymore on the subject.
