BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by tab1 on Oct 19, 2019 8:21:10 GMT 1, The main problem initially everyone that ordered multiple Items skipped reading t&c or just browsed through and not processing the terms properly and by entering so quickly most likely were checking the site constantly prior to going live not knowing how the site would work and most thinking would be free for all , quickest purchase secures. Usually a mad rush on a release and alot of talk about bots .seems like plenty of more releases to come and probably something exciting over xmas? Lots of chances yet

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Deleted on Oct 19, 2019 8:35:59 GMT 1, The question of who is a ‘genuine art collector’ is both interesting and ridiculous , he’s clearly joking somewhat, what he’s really doing is redistributing wealth something we should certainly respect him for..... Totally. Hopefully a lot of the pieces go to first time Banksy owners. He started a lot of people's interest in art way back when all his work was affordable. Certainly did for me (sadly I looked at his art but didn't buy it). It's a great thing if he sparks that in more people now by giving them a chance to own something by him. He's democratising his work again.
And if in a couple of years some people decide to sell because the money will make a bigger difference to them than owning the art long term, also not a bad thing. I'm sure selling those giveaways from the GDP exhibit in Croydon has already made a difference to some people. Good.
And re. 'genuine art collector', the idea is ridiculous and snobbish. It makes art only for people with disposable money. More respect for appreciators of art who want to display something they love, whatever it is, not people whose interest is primarily in just having it.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by tab1 on Oct 19, 2019 8:48:02 GMT 1, It is run as a business , multiple projects running, staff costs , studio freehold / rent costs , pr media etc To expand they need new buyers to the brand , not only the same circle of collectors . True collectors hoard items never to see the market and occasionally they need items to hit the market to create interest and demand .. look at every auction sale and straight after they positively effects the pricings of all prints , even posters now ! It would be nice if all went to collectors but needs to be inclusive of all.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by tab1 on Oct 19, 2019 8:52:12 GMT 1, To buy a new rolex you need to have made an existing purchase with the authorised dealer
To buy limited edition ferrraris , rolls royce , aston martins You need to have purchased a previous new model from the dealership
To confirm your a collector you need to be on the pest control register ! 😵😱🤔🤕

Yes, I did. There is nothing wrong inside of the T&Cs, but there are some inaccuracies in the text. I sent them an email to amend some details regarding the application process.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Lroy on Oct 19, 2019 10:25:03 GMT 1, I wonder how many people didn’t read the fine print and have several applications associated with the same address. I've not heard of any, but you never know! I've heard people do crazy things in a panic sometimes🤪 I ve done several applications, but I was ABSOLUTELY not the panic. I just did not read enough well conditions because or maybe : Here or I dunno where ( Instagram ? ) I thought that it was ONE application PER item ( for tats, tees etc ). Anyway, I ve continued to cart, in the nite, at home this time. Still cool...
I was sure of what I had done ; for unlimited editions, why would it be so restrcitive ? To finish, I never heard about this IP adress ?! Did Banksy wrote it on the first page ?
( just remember the question about art and I ve to do my best, but I don't think that I was funny at all. Anyway, there is now 15 pages about this problem... I don't cry at all. Thanks

Are you suggesting it wasn’t TFL that removed this and someone stole it?

Not sure he's seen the previous photos of them loading into the van with the security guys. If it was stolen they are all in it.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Hairbland on Oct 19, 2019 12:16:46 GMT 1, I'll say first that a lot of this thread is very entertaining, but it boggles my mind that people think this is a place to come for authoritative answers on how the sale works. None us knows anything for sure. One person's guess is as good as anyone else's. Loads of the rules are open to interpretation and GDP can enforce them however it wants. Nobody is owed anything. A shot at owning a Banksy isn't a right. Will they give people who messed it up the benefit of the doubt and let them try again? Maybe Do the answers to the art question actually matter except in very rare circumstances? Maybe Does buying the mat discount you from applying for anything else? Maybe Is the "unlimited" stuff actually unlimited? Maybe Does the whole thing reset for the next release round? Maybe We. Don't. Know. Anything. Just give it a try and see what happens. Odds are tiny anyway. There's no real way to game the system with your timing or choice of item. It's a very remote chance of owning a Banksy you'd otherwise only see in a gallery or museum. But it's a chance. Everyone’s behavior with regards to this new Banksy project would seem to be part of the project. Groveling hordes, whether on here, in Japan, or elsewhere become part of the gross consumerism that is GDP. You can’t think he just opened a store. Genuine Art Collectors indeed.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by greatplainsman on Oct 19, 2019 12:28:39 GMT 1, I was just thinking how amazing it is of Banksy to go to all of this trouble to make sure that everyone has a chance to own a piece of his Art while at the same time raising funds & bringing attention to a situation that so desperately needs it. I for one would never have a chance to display a Banksy if it wasn’t for sales like this. Thank you Banksy & Kudos from the GreatPlains✌️

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by Rouen Cathedral on Oct 19, 2019 12:47:38 GMT 1, I don't know why no one complains about the time frame... Am I selfish? i'm hardcore and gonna strike for life, but not selfish at all. I always help people who fucked up in a mosh pit..whatever. My friend sent me a Japanese newspaper that is about this lottery. it says "you can be an owner of over £100k of an art piece by £10." then the article explains who banksy is, what he's doing his online shop and with the link, says enter now for free. I got speechless for a few minutes. the article sounds exactly like "GETTING RICH IS A CLICK AWAY!" Banksy wants to sell his work for " Genuine art collectors" right? How's that possible? only 50 words (like Twitter) can't even express how much you want to win this. shame that it's still running and taking orders from someone who doesn't know about his work, someone who doesn't give as**t about an art. Over 200k orders and he has got only 400-500 items? (it could be 1,000 items? who knows) but it doesn't matter... i bet only 1 or 2 people on this forum get a T-shirt. if lucky enough. "Genuine art collectors" will submit their orders quick even if Banksy sets one hour time frame. I left completely satisfied and disappointed at the same time.
How dare you be critical. That’s not allowed.

If you read the descriptions, everything on “Home2” isn’t yet ready for sale. They are still in production
