BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by eyectopus on Jun 9, 2020 22:44:06 GMT 1, personally I would have the clock before the basquait. I think the clock is a classic banksy. I think your dreaming if you think you could buy a clock for 8k. I would buy at that price in a heartbeat. To be honest i can’t see any value in a clock.
It depends what way you look at it. I see them as a mixed media piece and the clock is key to it. There is meaning behind it such as having the rat running against time.
They are not like a themed clock that you could have with a Disney image etc. where the clock is functional and the face decorative.
They were not one of my favourite pieces from GDP but they are growing on me now. I can't wait to see how people hang them.

Yeah right... edt of 150, hand signed (this alone is worth the dogs bollocks) and hand customised by Banksy himself.
No value in a functional object customised by Banksy...
Go back to sleep mate.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by vvk on Jun 10, 2020 6:37:04 GMT 1, No way, where did you hear that ? I thought one of the purposes of the GDP venture was to give normal folk the chance to obtain pieces who are true admirers, to who a Banksy piece would normally be unobtainable without shelling out £20k / £30k, and Pest Control holding the COA was a way to stop people selling for huge profits. It sounds like Pest Control are now going to let these buyers sell, so it's inevitable pieces will now end up in the hands of wealthy buyers, auction houses and galleries. Something I thought Banksy despised. The whole GDP makes no sense. It would have made more sense for GDP to have released a few items as open editions, a quick John Hancock from Banksy, he earns £500 / £1,000 to do what he likes (or donate it to who he likes), true fans are happy to own an authentic piece (and saves their F5 key from certain death), and no one profits from it, no need for Pest Control to hold onto the COA.
Keep in mind he has to pay a price for his privacy. A lot of the homies have kids too and everyone needs to eat. This way everyone wins.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by The Italian One on Jun 10, 2020 9:24:58 GMT 1, nice to read about Banksquiat, flower thrower, spray can and running rat clock. Those seems to be the most wanted items.
But what about the Met Ball? to me the best sculpture edition in the whole GDP window! does anyone in the forum won it?

Flight logistics website shows they customise boxes themselves, I just want GDP to get the rest of these items out, it’s been 8 months now and I’m on the edge of my seat.

Yeah I was very lucky & won the Met Ball, I stuck some photos up a while back that you’ll be able to find in my ‘previous posts’. I think there was one other member from here that also won one. I agree with you about it being the best piece of the GDP items but I am definitely slightly bias haha. Cheers

I know for a fact that not all boxes are hand sprayed.
Most users just received the original box of the clock.

But this looks more like a box/crate they use to send out the art not the actual packaging, right? I can't imagine that they would really spray on the packaging of a Banksy piece.

That's so awesome, I'm guessing the ones without hand sprays are not sent by Flight Logistics?

I may be wrong but it would be more than flight logistics brilliant reputation is worth than to defaced some ones art work delivery? The video does not show a clock box or the wording on one

I don’t disagree, but if they package the artwork I thought perhaps they may of made a GDP stencil, but who knows

Like I say I’ve no idea, regardless of whoever does it I think it looks pretty cool.

Ship Art is their own name or TM as far as I know, so that is why the use it and stencil it.
Gross Domestic Product is not theirs or part of their business so they are not going to be adding it to boxes.

It's less than €200 above the RRP. If you don't want to wait for the next batch to be released, I'd say it's a good price
