I'm honestly worried having it in my house uninsured.
Had exactely the same problem. I finally got an appraisel from sothebys. But I guess it depends who you are talking to. May I ask where you are located?

If you add the VAT on the buyers premium, which you have to pay (or an equivalent import duty if you export it) this brings the price the buyer actually paid to £175,550.
Whilst it's amazing price I doubt it will continue at that level for long, as I expect we will see quite a lot come up for auction. This is only the 5th one to appear so far and there are 2 variants grey and black (aside from specials and APs) so there are 600 in total with quite a lot of pent up seller demand due to the please don't sell for 2 years request from PC. Although I hope I am completely wrong!!!!

I'm really not sure thats the case. I was told by PC that you apply using the authentication process and pay £60. Here is the email.
Times for COAs are a moot point. Some have been quite quick from my own experience but anything through an Auction House or recognised mainstream Gallery are dealt with pretty promptly.

I received an email from pest control a couple of weeks ago to say the COA will arrive within 28 days, it has not arrived yet but hopefully I will get it in the next couple of weeks. To me it makes little difference I have no plans to sell.
