Yup even indirect light does damage to unprotected prints.
My murakami litho faded fast after 3 years facing near but away from the window.
The UV bounces! I got all my windows darkened with 3M anti uv film after that. Very expensive stickers โem filmsโฆ

Release will end with the exhibition ends. A few days ago it was announced the exhibition will end jul 5. A few hours later - it was changed and extended to 1.2. 2022. I got mine a day after and there were 90 over for Alone and 30 for untitled. Just input a high number at checkout ane it will tell you how much stock is left. Peace Girl was sold out before the announcement. So now it looks like there are 87 Alone and unknown for untitled - but you can only add 5 to cart for untitled. i bought them regardless as I donโt want the Baltic poster history to repeat itself. They look good. Itโs rare to get glassy eye girl in editions nowadays. Will they get sold out before exhibition ends (like peace girl Vc) or will they keep making till 2022?? theskateroom.com/product/yoshitomo-nara-untitled

Everyone but the customers who already bought one. Saying itโs sold out and changing your mind later - can be bad for the long run. Is making that extra few sales worth it?

However, at auction, a verified Nara piece on an envelope (such as the one posted above) will fetch between ยฃ40-60,000 at auction. Maybe more.

This is a sincere post from my friend based in Australia. He is new to the forum and a bit perplexed by it all. He couldn't work out how to post a pic so I did it for him. He is an artist who exchanged drawings with Mr Nara at an event some years ago. Please contact him if you are interested. He is quite pleasant

Sorry, yes of course provenance is 100% required. An image of Nara doing the drawing, at a known public event would be good in this instance. It's very difficult to prove provenance for public drawings. Not that I don't believe him, I'm sure what he's saying is probably the truth...but I'm not a potential buyer.

I was wondering if some Nara experts would be able to help me out.
I have acquired two Nara prints, both were obtained from Yoshitomos exhibit โI DON'T MIND, IF YOU FORGET MEโ at Tomio Koyama Gallery in Japan. They have a strong provenance with original receipt.
These prints are still in the original frames that they were sold in at the gallery and the contain prints of Naras paintings that I have never before seen in print form (other than in the book). Firstly I was wanting to get them reframed, would this effect the value in any way? Secondly how would someone go about getting something like this valued? I have never seen these prints before in the secondary market and since they have never been taken out of the frame I am unsure if there is a signature underneath (about 40% of the image is under the matt boarder)
Any leads will be very much appreciated
