I have acquired two Nara prints, both were obtained from Yoshitomos exhibit โI DON'T MIND, IF YOU FORGET MEโ at Tomio Koyama Gallery in Japan. They have a strong provenance with original receipt. These prints are still in the original frames that they were sold in at the gallery and the contain prints of Naras paintings that I have never before seen in print form (other than in the book). Firstly I was wanting to get them reframed, would this effect the value in any way? Secondly how would someone go about getting something like this valued? I have never seen these prints before in the secondary market and since they have never been taken out of the frame I am unsure if there is a signature underneath (about 40% of the image is under the matt boarder) Any leads will be very much appreciated

Iโve contacted YN directly because I couldnโt find any record that they did release these prints but the sellers story checked out 100%, I really thought that I was taking due diligence. All I can do is wait and see I guess

Also donโt twist my words! I never said that I wanted to reproduce embossed invader prints, I only wanted to know what the technique that he used was called so I could apply it to my own art.
