Seen many at cost or even 50% cost by desperate sellers unfortunately. This down market is a good learning experience, only buy what you can afford.

I'm feeling that. I have a bunch of similar value stuff that I'd like to shift, so might just take it all to one of the auction houses.
Not sure if Tate Ward, or another in London, is a good easy option, or ship to Asia !?
Is it worth the effort with shipping, insurance and exchange rates, etc.

Shipping to Asia may yield greater profits but those costs you mentioned and risk will eat into that & Asian buyers will still be bidding in London anyway.
