I think you are likely right on the money. I could see it go for a lot more in the coming years, but itโs so hard to prove provenance and the piece itself looks like it can be easily replicated. Iโm not planning on selling any time soon. Itโs a classic Banksy piece and I really love it! |

Yes. I saw one at auction that hit $3100. Would I pay that much? Likely not, but Iโve made the mistake of not buying a Banksy when it was cheap a couple of times and have always felt bad about it.
Knowing that these show signs of yellowing really easily it be good to see how they stand up after being museum framed. Have these really reached ยฃ3k already? Yes. No bullshit or hype, just an opinion, i still think thats these are cheap in comparison to all other banksy screen prints, obviously no coa blah blah, but i think you get the point. ยฃ4-5k for monkey/devolved parliament is the price I have seen around here for a while, an that is a lithograph. I see no reason, why these cannot trade at ยฃ5-6k.
From what was said, itโs being framed to go with his rat, i donโt think he will be putting it up for sale.
