Avoidance....evasion is illegal. I did mean tax evasion and the billions in undeclared assets which have been illegally hidden off-shore but you're right about the issue of tax avoidance too. |

and even there is not much love for this print, I quite like it!.. cause while everyone is saying his wall pieces are much stronger, punchy, it's a question how many of them would work as prints, and even more, how many of them would people BUY as prints?!.. his style is very street/public friendly, and it's not an easy task transferring it onto paper.. with this strange composition I think this witty image was actually a great choice!

whatever is the meaning, thank goodness there are still and also street artist who makes street art and urban art with social themes in it and not only glamourous contemporary stuff..

Risograph print from Pictures on Walls in 2010.
"Around the Wall" Size: 29,7 x 42 cm
Two color (Teal and dark brown) A3 poster - printed using Risograph printing.
This was normally an unsigned edition of 50 in total, however, I was lucky enough to get my version signed by the artist back then.
In good condition, might be a dink or two in the paper, but nothing major, anyhow just as received.
ยฃ50 ONO plus postage (just under ยฃ20 with tracking I think).

It will be hard-backed, 300 pages, 17.5x24cm, full color and limited to 1000 copies. In exchange for crowd-funding contributions he's offering signed and hand-finished copies of the book, zines, prints, sketches...oh, and to cook vegetarian paella for you and your friends!
Personally, I think Escif has produced some of the most relevant, interesting and thought-provoking street work of the last few years. The book will cover the last five years of Escif's work which has addressed topics like poverty, austerity and inequality since the collapse of Lehman Brothers.
