I even went to Valencia and the volume of Graf on the streets is awesome. Some of his prints work better than others, this Iโm not overly sure of. Iโve never purchased anything from the print house so canโt comment on the quality.
Whatโs not grabbing is the image and what might seem strange the size. I like Escif when the prints are smaller A4 even A3 this seems too big.
When he sell original drawings from my knowledge they are no bigger than A3 though someone will no doubt correct me.
When the size of the print is smaller is helps to convey the simplistic message and evokes a sense of fragility.
Others have mentioned Steve Laz getting his price wrong. I fear this is more of the same especially since there is no hand embellishment. I know up to few years ago you could pick up an original drawing (A4) for double the price. Hopefully Iโm wrong and this flies off the shelves to lovers of Escifโs style and not people chasing a quick buck.

I hear what youโre saying, but if ever there was a time to strike it would be while the iron is hot from a well publicised Banksy colab.

Reckon seen as intended as a series of panel, cropping of images and more of the way of ancient men this could have made an interesting proposition.
Contrast to women fencing around a head leaves less of an impression. Shame because had it been a stronger image (just an opinion donโt kill me) Escif with the new Banksy endorsement would be now be tearing up the dance floor.
For those that buy Iโd be interested in seeing how this look framed up.

I think Escif was also at Dismaland so has had the Banksy endorsement for a while.

So Escif is attempting to clarify the situation and point out that artists have similar ideas all the time. Which is true. Every time you come up with an idea, you can't (always successfully) search the entire planet to see if someone else has already done it.
