And if it were more limited, I would feel too special and I would be too distracted by that IMHO. Think a good price would've been $8000. 900 was too low. Big miscue by AA

In his signature linear style Yu Nagaba uses a goldfish and floral motifs to pay homage to Matisse. Each print features a red ACE Hotel stamp. The stamp is a calling card seen throughout the artist’s practice. It calls to Nagaba’s childhood memories of his father’s travels and the simple mementos he’d return with, and more recently to an imagined alter ego who travels the world leaving cryptic sketches on hotel notepads.

I actually have a 50L freshwater aquarium at home so 100% agree with you. Proper fishtanks need a filter, a heater and plants. And like you said most fish also need companions. The bowl placed here is purely for decoration to mimic the one you see in the print. It's not our intention at all for people to use this imagery as a guide on fish keeping!

I don't think it is or is supposed to be a goldfish. It's a Betta. You can't put more than one in a bowl, they'll rip each other apart.

On the 6th of March at 17:00GMT Alice will create one of her signature small canvases during a 1-hour livestream. At the end we will give the work away to one lucky attendee, and three other specially selected works will be available to buy.
