Banksy Gross Domestic Pets™, by pfffffffffft on Nov 10, 2019 15:34:38 GMT 1, So, without really knowing if Banksy will really knock out some pet portraits I thought it might be great to see the pets that might be submitted if you won!
These are our cats. They are brother and sister. The white fluffy one is named Zelda, the tuxedo is named Elliot. We adopted them from a shelter when they were only a few months old.
Edited to add this portrait of a dog in a sailor's cap so it could be the thread image. That is not our dog and I am pretty sure that is not our sailor's cap.

Lovely cats. And much love to you for sourcing them from a shelter/sanctuary.

This is my cat Mila, I rescued her 10 years ago and she's the biggest weirdo I know. Completely convinced she's a dog in a cat's body. She's been a bit sick recently so keep her in your thoughts please!

Oh hello, nice angle too with gwtrb in the background nicely done. We don't have any pets, we want a cat but we can't at the moment, our daughter is too young and we only want one from a rescue home, they have strict rules unfortunately. I'll just have to admire all your pets instead.

They come to you when you least expect it usually. I was randomly browsing gumtree (as you do) when I saw a section saying “free pets”. Couldn’t believe people just gave their pets away and starting browsing when I saw her gormless little face staring at me and I went and got her that evening. She’s been with me ever since and the best decision I ever made! It will be a great day when you can finally give a furry friend a home

Completely convinced she's a dog in a cat's body. She's been a bit sick recently so keep her in your thoughts please! Feel better Mila! Also, why do you think she thinks she's a dog? Elliot, our tuxedo, we think oscillates between thinking he is a dog and thinking he is a little people.
He will literally play fetch with us which is kind of wild.

Yeah Mila does the same! Plays fetch, collects post from the letterbox and drops it at my feet, comes running in from the garden when I call her name. Even rolls over on demand (about 50% of the time 😉) I figured she might have grown up with dogs at some point in her past but perhaps it’s just a tuxedo cat trait!
Ps this is by far my favourite new thread on the forum ❤️

Ps this is by far my favourite new thread on the forum ❤️ It might be a tuxedo cat thing because we adopted ours at 3 or 4 months so I don't think he would have had much exposure to dog training that young. He knows his name for sure. He understands 'belly rub' and will show his belly if he wants a rub. He's also so smart it's a little bit weird. He does a great job trying to communicate.
It's nice seeing photos of people's pets and definitely a destresser.

I'm going to let her write the next entry question answer. Her pounding out 50 words on the keyboard is likely to be 1,000x better than my last entry!

This is Sampson. He is a rescue dog we brought home 5 years ago. He is the most mellow pet I have ever had. His favorite thing to do is find a comfy spot on the couch and pretend to be a pillow. Not sure of the breed; I’m thinking Havanese mixed with a splash of Terrier.
