London Art Fair, by craigf on Jan 18, 2012 11:22:48 GMT 1, Enjoyed last nights show, good to meet Martin and thanks again for the ticket. The show is quite big and if you're not careful you could easily miss the upper level. There was a very nice Fairey Ali collage (with a big price), a large Dan Baldwin original that I liked, lots of great Bridgette Riley, OC had some Hirst spots and butterflies plus a whole lot of other stuff that I am sure I didn't spend enough time looking at.

London Art Fair, by Goooogle Male on Jan 18, 2012 15:13:04 GMT 1, yeah was great, if a little overwhelming with so much to see. Needs 2 or 3 trips really as you start to develop 'art blindness'.... For Banksy-ites CYW in Turquoise on Dom G's stand looked fab plus 1 place on the gallery level with really very reasonably priced (sub ยฃ2k) signed prints by BIG named artists like Picasso, Miro etc.

Nice to meet you as well Craig, sounds like you have a very nice art collection back home, including that great Barcode. The show was great, but its definitely worth a second visit to get round all the galleries. Might be tempted by a small bronze i saw there by Carol Peace, seen her work there for a few years and always liked it.

London Art Fair, by Poppy Sunshine on Jan 24, 2012 15:59:35 GMT 1, Did anyone see the Hector di Gregorio pieces on the Opus stand? He was actually there himself and we had a massive chat with him. He's a proper mad Dali like bloke. Very symbollic and meaningful work if you talk to him but I suspect most people might think it's just nuts.

London Art Fair, by Deleted on Jan 15, 2013 18:53:29 GMT 1, Evening all,
Hoping to pop down to London on Friday and visit the London Art Fair.
Does anyone have a spare ticket or a week ticket they will have used before then?
It would be great if I could attend without paying door price (tight midlander!)
Any forum members going Friday - would be good to say Hi.
Anyway - would love to see pictures from the preview this evening.

London Art Fair, by Sacked... on Jan 17, 2013 21:53:28 GMT 1, this one was a show stopper Bottle and Skull, James Hopkins by nolionsinengland, on Flickr working in the realms of anamporphic art and that Holbein in the Bational Portrait Gallery. viewed from around the left the reflected skull was perfect but this angle give a better impression of what is going on. Upstairs on Scream stand, also has some tidy stuff by Static.
That was my favourite of the show too.
