Having gone last night I found the following.

There is a slow infiltration going on from the street art scene, both direct and indirect. For example a photo in a light box of a station with an obey poster in it, another painting with a Dface queen painted onto it. There were little bits on surprising stands, Beejoir take on Damien Hirst was on show, people had some bits and bobs by eine, Faile etc.

Realised you can get away with going every other year to this place, but there certainly seemed more prints than last year. My favourite once again was a new Dan Baldwin original, lovely yellow. He also had unique test prints of Flirting with death that were absolutely stunning!!! If you like Baldwin and you are going, forster Gallery for a look, they weren't cheap though so I couldn't afford one.

Otherwise lots of nice stuff by people I have never heard of!! On the main mezzanine there is an awesome triptych print of a Francis Bacon that is huge, I would kill for it!!!

Smartest sale pitch of the evening was supplied by Ocontemporary for the Gerald Laing prints. The Kiss (Amy winehouse and Civil) has been steadily going up in price, you can buy it for £2500, next to it was the show exclusive Mate Moss by Laing, at the price of £1000, people looked at £2500 and £1000 and thought money to be made, they were selling at a rate of knots. That said the Kate Moss was a nice print, but not as nice as Paul Insect's bunny girl, which it reminded me of a little.

Well worth a visit.

I'm going on Saturday & Sunday. On both days I'm going with people who have never been before and have no idea what their tastes in art are but they've just got on to the property ladder and want to have a look around and see what might be suitable. I'm looking forward to it in a slightly sadistic way!

I don't know my lovely MacBook Pro is in for repairs and it's not 6 months old yet and while away am using what seems like a steam driven iBook

Went last night to the buyers preview and Private View at the London Art Fair.

I thought the show was much better than Frieze but thats my opinion.

I had an invitation via Bloomsbury Auctions and was able to use the Collectors Lounge ;D and was pleasantly surprised to see the following Banksy's up on the wall in the lounge.
Sorry if the pictures are a bit dark I am still trying to get to grips with a new camera.



An early piece done in 2000 I believe, and sold at the Severnshed exhibition.

I was told this was not going into auction and was on loan from the original owner.







I liked this little Canvas with the Riot Copper on Blue and was told it is going into their auction.
NOW where is my Banksy Piggy Bank ....Ahhh EMPTY



I did see a Banksy print at one of the exhibiting gallery's, a Tesco soup can ....sorry cannot remember how much or where it was, so much to see.

There was for me an interesting selection lot of art there last night.
I did buy my husband something for his birthday ....Not a Banksy piece. It was all about his taste not mine as I have dominated the choice of art we have bought over the past year so it was nice for him to get the chance of choosing something without my prodding. ;D

Agree Fearkiller, some of the most iconic images were first seen at the severnshed show.
I love the shark Canvas, one of my Favourites, Sold for around £200 if I remember.

I got an email from BRP half an hour ago saying they had sent out their tickets for the preview... but they did say...

'We will also be releasing a new edition by Nick Walker on the preview evening.'

Interesting, anyone any idea what it is?
