Harland Miller’s Largest Solo Exhibition 14th Feb, by John The Badgers on Apr 16, 2020 19:03:23 GMT 1, This already been posted I think, but with regards to the Harland Miller Interview -
A Message from York Art Gallery:
Asa result of the current unprecedented situation arising from Covid-19, it is with great sadness that we have to cancel the Harland Miller In Conversation event. We are hoping to do an event in the future with the artist, but the details are not yet finalised.
As a charity who survives through income from our visitors, closing our doors for an indefinite period has had a very significant negative impact on our sustainability.
In light of this unprecedented situation, we would be extremely grateful if you would consider donating the price of your ticket to us to help us survive in these extremely challenging times. To do this, there is no further action required.
If you do not wish to donate your ticket value, please email &&&&&&&&&&&&&& and a will issue you a refund.
Thankyou for your understanding.
Kindest regards,
York Museums Trust
So looks like something similar may be done in the future?

Harland Miller’s Largest Solo Exhibition 14th Feb, by kjg on Apr 16, 2020 19:22:07 GMT 1, Getting a poster from the Harland Miller exhibition is out of the question at the moment.
So I decided to donate the costs for the poster (including the costs for sending it to me) to the gallery :-)

Harland Miller’s Largest Solo Exhibition 14th Feb, by Dahmer on Apr 17, 2020 12:15:13 GMT 1, I know it’s a difficult time and whatnot but I’ve managed to sell a piece of art recently and get it posted - any one heard from the gallery about the posters, I paid via bank transfer over a month ago and they don’t respond to emails it seems
Just curious what’s happening

Harland Miller’s Largest Solo Exhibition 14th Feb, by Skinner on Apr 17, 2020 12:53:22 GMT 1, I haven't got a poster but I've had a couple of emails from the York gallery in the past and they do seem like quite a small set up, so if you've already paid then I think you'll just have to be patient. They have shut and I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't got the staff/facilities to keep dealing with orders etc.
If you have evidence of the payment and purchase then I would presume you'll be fine.
Just need patience during these uncertain and testing times.
Oh, and I'd rather have paid for a poster and be waiting than not have a poster and be waiting for them to hopefully restocked like me! ; )

Demand will just keep rising and so will prices.

There is one in Tate Ward auction on Artsy if you want confidence of authenticity but is is £650 plus 34% fees and still has 2 days bidding left. These seem to be rising in price as it looks like there were not that many available from York and think they have said they are not restocking again.

Harland Miller’s Largest Solo Exhibition 14th Feb, by larryforsyth on May 10, 2020 11:49:21 GMT 1, I concur with Artlife11, these are going to continue to rise and the price on the bay is on the up again. There were quite a few listed over the last month as lockdown set in and no doubt some people needed a quick (but very profitable) return, but those have all sold. I think we’re beginning to see these finally settle with collectors.
It’s also worth mentioning that a lot of locals bought these not really knowing Harland or his market, - there will be a far higher percentage of these already on walls than in a flat file as some form of investment for a future sale.
