Yeah, there's a cascade of wires underneath it. Gives it a nice sense of depth

This is the JPS I'm talking about but I agree. I feel like a Banksy stencil is an exercise in nuance. There is frequently a base layer, an ultra dark layer, a shading layer then some bits on the base layer surrounded by a little dead space.

Sorry, when I said depth, I meant the lack of meaning behind the JPS pieces. He often paints film characters directly onto a wall with no further meaning other than a visually great looking stencil. This piece to me, doesn't seem like a normal JPS, but I'm sure we will find out soon.

I'm presuming the flowers are 1 piece other than the few drifting off.. the whole thing wouldn't be installed 1 by 1. |
