New Banksy, Marsh Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol, by pfffffffffft on Feb 13, 2020 13:58:38 GMT 1, Also possible. There are a few JPS stencils that are very similar in terms of layering. Especially that one of the woman on the heart balloon swing.
Those feet look like Banksy feet to me but maybe I am wrong.

New Banksy, Marsh Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol, by jellya on Feb 13, 2020 14:10:13 GMT 1, Loads of people here. Flowers on sign have gone. Great piece Happy Valentine's How are the poppys attached to the wall. Is it on a frame with dangling wires?
Yeah, there's a cascade of wires underneath it. Gives it a nice sense of depth

JPS paints some of the best detailed stencil work out there, but he normally lacks any depth to his pieces.

I feel like a Banksy stencil is an exercise in nuance. There is frequently a base layer, an ultra dark layer, a shading layer then some bits on the base layer surrounded by a little dead space.

New Banksy, Marsh Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol, by Coach on Feb 13, 2020 14:23:40 GMT 1, its not by Banksy thats why !
I don’t think it is either. But I’ve been wrong before. That’s why I was surprised to see someone post that it’s on his IG. Especially when it isn’t as far as I can see.

Sorry, when I said depth, I meant the lack of meaning behind the JPS pieces. He often paints film characters directly onto a wall with no further meaning other than a visually great looking stencil. This piece to me, doesn't seem like a normal JPS, but I'm sure we will find out soon.

New Banksy, Marsh Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol, by tonys on Feb 13, 2020 17:47:15 GMT 1, I'm guessing the plant/leaves/flowers were already in situ?
And the stencil was added, which is typical Banksy IMO

I'm presuming the flowers are 1 piece other than the few drifting off.. the whole thing wouldn't be installed 1 by 1.

I mean kind of.
If a so so artist puts out a poor piece its meh.
But if a genius artist puts out a poor piece I’d say it would be more embarrassing.

For me, it'd be great to have another dickpic or something like that because the world is going to crap and we need a honest laugh.

You disagree?
I mean if Lionel Messi has a PK and misses don’t you think he will get more grief then the goal keeper missing his?
