Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by wrigs on May 24, 2020 22:26:38 GMT 1, Whatโs sense is there to release the population from isolations which have proven to lower infections and deaths when there has been no progress with vaccines or medicines , A tracking system not in place and would be overwhelmed , Kawasaki disease is now being seen in older children and teenagers now , just seems it would be sending certain individuals to an early death
Rather than continuing to pose questions how about some answers? Thereโs lots of tutting going on with hind sight but less thoughts on how to move forward. As you have already pointed out a viable vaccine may be some years away so do you propose in the meantime we all stay indoors?

The truth in regards to the number of infected people needed and the amount of deaths likely to occur to assume herd immunity as models would have been researched and studied before any final decisions are made , with a vaccine not viable , herd immunity is back on the table and there are few research papers discussing isolations will have a less impacting effect on herd immunity and a vaccine developed being met , as this is the projected way forward with easing of isolations so far , will give the public more of a choice in their every day decisions .

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by wrigs on May 24, 2020 23:02:23 GMT 1, Im not sure there were any firm answers there, so you now agree with relaxing lockdown? You can find a study from a scientist supporting which ever way you fancy tackling this issue. The reality is we wonโt know which was the most appropriate/effective until after the event. Iโm not saying thereโs a right or wrong just that these decisions are clearly difficult to make given we didnโt and still donโt have all the information to hand. There are some clear glaring mistakes such as sending the ill back into care homes and I also agree Cummings needs to go.

Unfortunately, however, there are a quantity of workers and income too connected with people's sense of safety and leisures. I therefore believe that governments are now trying to contain the economic impacts. One of Bastardilla's latest mural warn that many people now...if don't die of the virus, could die of hunger. Unfortunately without any vaccine an unprecedented economic catastrophe will be inevitable....

It is implausible to stay in the current circumstance of isolations for the publicโs mental health well being , personal financial status and that of the economy I agree Decisions should be easier for the uk as they can study from many countries that had been infected months prior to the uks pandemic starting so can learn from their failings and positive effects

Until all countries record data in the same manner , using the same tests it is insignificant comparing data with other countries as too many variables , admitted most recently by the U.K. government when the data displayed did not meet their agenda

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by irl1 on May 26, 2020 11:38:47 GMT 1, No covid19 deaths reported today in Ireland. This is our first day with no deaths, a good sign But remember you can't register deaths at the weekend, or on bank holidays. There will probably be a lot registered today to make up for the backlog. I understand but its just nice to see no reported deaths. Our numbers have been low and getting even lower.

One thing for sure some people are breaking all the rules. Also opening up countries for holidays is a bad idea.
Why can't we all stay in our own countries for this year. Spend the money at home and keep people in work. Every country in the world has places to visit so why travel away.
Yes the airlines are in trouble but we can't help everyone. The wife and I will not be going away until this virus is under control.

Unfortunately this is a group effort and just a small percentage not adhering to the guidelines will cause chaos for all , many are following guidelines and isolations but all the effort is to waste , pm advisor and Scottish health advisor are the top in the fields of providing guidance and if they can not adhere to guidance what hope do the general public have . The main support the government did have is now lost and with The hot summer Ahead many will now ignore any guidance

Have not ruled out the virus infecting others species , as small cases of pets being infected and animals in zoos now to run horse racing with no research excluding the links ? At least they have huge insurance policies in event of death !

It should never have gone ahead that week, crazy! Loads of Irish make up the numbers there, it was only going to help spread it even further afield.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on May 26, 2020 19:14:49 GMT 1, Financial gain in the event of raised taxes rather than health at the forefront of the governments thoughts to assist the public
With the proposed lifting of restrictions all that is happening Towards the publicโs health Is managing the deaths In a limiting manner to prevent the nhs system being over run with The nightingale system set in place for the second wave which will inevitably come , testing procedures still inadequate and faulty , with greater testing it has been bought to light average delay of symptoms of infected are a greater time period than 14 days with the upper limit past 30 days with the potential for many to unknowingly spread the virus In that time period
With many not showing severe symptoms and unknowingly infected and failing to seek medical intervention as Of fear of contracting the virus and continuing with daily routines and many now not adhering to government guidelines as feel they have been lied to , will be likely mass spike of infections two months after lifting restrictions.
With studies stating that immunity may be short six months to a year after being infected , draws the case that the body can only with stand so many cycles of the virus before becomes fatal.
The proposed lifting of restrictions looks like herd immunity strategy is being presented again with a staged management of the deaths that will occur .

Where is the logic in some people's thoughts
The virus is shown to be different strains through out the world , mortality rates and infections rates higher in some countries , Infected individuals may not always display symptoms but to allow every international traveller into a condensed city ?
If a more rigid isolation period was put in place and monitored and enforced properly with out the issue of infected care home individuals sent back to care homes from hospitals from the start of the pandemic this could of been wiped out internally by now in the uk
Instead we are now in cycles of infection rates and controlled deaths
