Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Knowss on Sept 11, 2020 18:17:43 GMT 1, banksy assemby instructions for thrower provide 2 options for middle print; one is oval, one is rectangle like fish did. Good fact. I didn't know that. I still wonder whether it's possible to source the exact frames, or if they are vintage. But if it's possible, why aren't they specified !?
Seems very difficult I have been trying for a while. In my opinion those original ones were just spare frames as you can see when you zoom in, they have parts of them that are actually broken.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Deleted on Sept 11, 2020 19:02:57 GMT 1, 😂 it’s worth more than the house So I can assure you all they wasn’t all given to rich art collectors Thank you all for your kind word Perfect job mate, looks fantastic. It's also refreshing to see such a piece outside of a £2mil+ property with huge open plan living. Look after it well!!!
That’s great. I think it looks very nice indeed. Easily my favourite banksy print. Looks great on the wall.

Would love to see one of those. I thought about asking Pest Control, but realised they’d be way out of price range... and probably only available to preferred buyers anyway!

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Fish on Sept 11, 2020 21:25:27 GMT 1, Firstly thank you for most of the nice comments it’s really appreciated and I will move the flowers up slightly tomorrow I was too excited I feel To the sarky comments about the size of my house and wall
Yes it’s a small onsite Bungalow
Don’t judge a book by its cover
A glass jar with a few coins make a lot of noise when rattled
A full glass jar make no noise
I feel this will apply to most of the w@nkers comments

Don’t feel you need to justify your home to the internet. Looks amazing. Most people here probably live in their mums basement.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by brycepen on Sept 11, 2020 21:53:20 GMT 1, Yes too many low blow comments. I think the frames are looking excellent. Nice to see how much the different frames change the dynamic of the work. I'm also going to go out on a limb and take a wild guess that Banksy would actually find more gratification seeing his art on this wall than the massive open wall of some hedge funders NYC loft.

I would hope Banksy is a bit less cynical than that. This piece was hung up with pride. Even if I had a piece worth more my than my life savings, it would be hard to replace that spot on the wall no matter how much I got paid for it. There are lots of bums with no money (like me) that sincerely love the work; I hope Banksy understands the value of it more than simply how it “enhances the brand”.

But seriously, thank you for sharing, congratulations, and without making any assumptions at all, I will just say if I was one who wished for bigger walls, or a car, or more food for my family, or any number of things that might make life easier, I am not certain that I would be able to choose the art over the temptations of buckets of easy money. We all say we would, but I just don’t know that I would be able to do so if it stared me in the face. People truly enjoying epic art over anything else is so rare and a treat to witness. If this is the case with any of the winners here displaying the art and enjoying it- brav-fucking-o, you are legends.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Graham H on Sept 12, 2020 10:09:38 GMT 1, I wasnt questioning the piece being hung with pride.. Its a beautiful image - one that is set to become an iconic image of this generation - and i think the life changing opportunities that GDP and many other generous ways he has 'given back ' are brilliant.
I obviously cant speak for him, but just imagine how it feels having the wherewithall to change peoples lives by doing the things he is doing.. but he can only do this by what he has done in the past to get the stature that he has today.. and it would seem that one of the main reasons driving GDP is to stop people ripping off his images and in turn by trademarking and copyrighting the stuff he has, he is fully looking to protect and by definition strengthen and enhance his Brand..
The guy is an amazing artist.. appears to be a great person by doing amazing things for others.. but is also a very savy and enterprising businessman.. that's my personal opinion..

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by mikamika on Sept 20, 2020 19:44:10 GMT 1, Here is how I framed the triptych. My framer offered me a simple black aluminum frame solution. This does not follow the artist's recommendations but it has the merit of highlighting his work.

Is there a reason they arent right next to each other and there is such a gap between each piece.... I just wonder if they were all right next to each other how it would look.. more like just one big piece maybe?
Thanks for showing on here.. a brave choice

Love the framing on this. The simplicity of the frame really compliments the image. Well done and enjoy.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Pawel on Sept 21, 2020 10:57:42 GMT 1, If I was looking for that print, I would wait for another auction result. Wasn't it damaged/mounted to a board. I'm surprised by the price rise of all the prints but I get it. This one particular result, I just cannot get my head around it? If it goes for 300k next time, it's fine but I would wait.
The GDP Thrower on the other hand, it's a classic image, it's huge. I would not be surprised if it sets a record for a Banksy print at the auction.

"The full sheet, in good condition, adhered to another sheet and board at the sheet edges, with some light scuffs and minor rubbing in the black, framed."
