You once again dug deep into your pockets. Every day we do one or two projects. We feed 30 vulnerable senior citizens every day. Today we start our 4th week doing this. We gave 13.5 kg of vegetables each to 100 families last Friday. That cost $1,300. Yesterday I went to a random poor area and gave 1kg of bananas each to 52 children. We intend to do this regularly as it costs less than $40. After feeding the seniors today we will deliver another 80 in house made masks to front liners.
When you support Star Apple Foundation, this is where your money goes, not in administration, expenses and huge salaries. Our volunteers are paid less than $9 per day

Happy father's day Jedi and any other fathers here.
We are still feeding the 30 vulnerable seniors every day, thanks to all our benefactors here and elsewhere. We also feed all the residents of the old dumpsite every Sunday.
Today is day 74 of the feeding, and as it is Sunday, we have 90 meals to cook. My wife Eden cooks all this food. She has not one day off in 74. I merely deliver with the tricycle and on foot, and joke with the beneficiaries to keep morale up. Two have died who had underlying health issues. Some are very old, others have physical heath issues and about 5 have dementia. During this past week we gave coloring books and crayons/pencils to 60 children in our locality (2-5 years old). We are hoping in the coming week or so to give painting sets to the older children (6-10). It has been more than three months since the schools were shut down.
Thank you all again, and if you have a few spare Euro, we would much appreciate you donate it to this cause. Most of The Philippines has being in near lockdown conditions for three months, and this has done untold damage to the poor. Now that it has being partially lifted, COVID-19 cases are sky rocketing. We are like where Europe was in Mid April.

My dear friend Dive Jedi's wife comes from from here in Maasin, and is a good friend of my wife. The video is 11 minutes, but only covers a fraction of the destruction here, and in the rest of Southern Leyte. I am hoping to raise 7,000 euro in the next two weeks, as I have pre-ordered that much worth of building materials. I have 30 days credit (plus a bit more) with my supplier.
If you guys can raise a few hundred through Jedi, it would be a great help.
