Lets see what they announce...!  If anyone has a more accurate order count, let me know and I'll reecalculate. I ordered the minute they were announced and order number was in the 5700’s

Indeeed very good! My estimate shows £1,86m for NHS and £2,23m for Felix Project.

This is sales total - it’s the profit that’s going to charity isn’t it? So you need to knock off costs for the amount raised.

It’s one of the paradoxes of collecting. People want what they can’t have more than what they can have.
An artwork readily for sale at “RRP” just doesn’t have the same allure to a collector as an artwork a few months/years down the line which is since sold out and particularly where - as you say - they were mainly sold to bona fide purchasers rather than flippers, so there may well be lower numbers floating around for resale over the near to medium term.

It's a resonant piece for these times and it was accessible, will be easy to put up, and has immediate visual appeal. Plus this was way too high risk for anyone buying to sell quickly.

I never got one in the end. I definitely would have done for my kids walls if they were younger. I think price wise these were a cracking buy for a quality piece. Hirst could have quite easily sold a load of giclees, so fair play to him and Heni for what they have done.

Soon as they sold out masses of people suddenly decided they wanted one. In that instance eBay banned sales of them (although they seem to be for sale on there again now). Be nice if eBay banned sales of these too.
