This was finally going to turn the planet around. We were going to buy a sh*ttonne, save the NHS and that, then flip them from our bedrooms, getting the economy moving again while maintaining social distancing, but more importantly, getting the art print resell market back on its feet. The world was going to be a better place again. Fewer trees, but you can't have everything.

We'll just have to settle for helping the NHS. Which will be needed to help with Sir Peter Blake's blood pressure.

TFW you now have to handle your own social media and photoshopping because all of your staff have been furloughed, you don't know know why Peter Blake keeps leaving angry messages on your answer machine, and you keep crying because your private butterfly factory has gone feral due to no keepers. A man after my own heart vis à vis grammar.

A couple of things I'd add into the mix are that coronavirus is one word, not two and thus the shortening to 'corona' is akin to shortening 'photomontage' to 'photo'... it doesn't make any sense unless there is a knowledge of what is being discussed that is associated with the shortening and even then, the shortened form is open to misinterpretation by nit-pickers (not you, obvs  ).

Also, even if we shorten the word coronavirus to corona, we miss the point that this particular virus is but the latest strain of a group of coronaviruses first discovered in the 1960s, the newest versions of which are MERS-CoV or MERS, SARS-CoV or SARS and, our very own, the big daddy, SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 (coronavirus december 2019).  So, 'corona' or even 'Corona' is all a bit vague anyway.

All that said... 'Corona' works for me.  And I've been buying up the beer as it's particularly cheap right now.

Yep I saw that too in the now deleted post. He was replying to someone else's comment and also in another reply talked about it being affordable.

I did get the impression that he was just bouncing ideas round though, but really do hope it'll be an affordable times release (which we're all aware of and notified with enough time to buy).
