I have supported artists in lockdown and donated to NHS. Just don't like the images and can't see them on my walls. Shame really because Hirst is doing a wonderful thing here.
My exact thoughts too,the art itself isn’t for me,unfortunately..

Just out of interest I wonder if they will pull it if they get to a certain extremely high number.. Agreed - sorry, this was a list of general reasons why I’d buy something with no intention of putting it on the wall rather than this particular piece. Can’t see them pulling the offer - might take a while to produce and ship though.

Everyone sells art to flip , that’s part of the fun , helps to fund other pieces as not everyone can afford continuous items and saves being termed a hoarder 🙈even the ones that denounce the practice but sell high end banksys are technically flippers , it is part of the game , charity prints Are even flipped but in this case people are still continuing to die from the lack of ppe , people are effected still from recent deaths , some people here might be effected from a close friend or family member being infected or death From covid 19 ,
The cause of the charity is to create awareness and support the nhs and provide the lack of ppe which is causing Deaths of staff to then flip a print now that is set up to prevent deaths is a little crass and shows no empathy
Later on down the line when people are not so sensitive would be more acceptable?
If aim is In an insensitive Blunt way to profit from death not to support prevention Of deaths is it ok?

Its £1m of sales (as it says) - its the profit that is being donated. We don't know what the margin is... |

The rainbow has more of a connection with the pandemic and how kids used them as a symbol of hope. That was my reasoning anyway for going for it.
